17th Annual Mahotsava - Arya Samaj, Sector 28-31, Faridabad
Arya Samaj, Sector 28-31, Faridabad held its 17th Annual Mahotsava in the premises of Arya Samaj on 3-6 November, 2016. Sh. Sushil Nagpal, Vice president of Arya Samaj is a registered body donor with our Samiti and he arranged for a stall of samiti during this event. Sh. Lalit Nagar, MLA and several other seniors of Arya Samaj from NCR graced the event. The stall of Samiti was manned on all four days by S/Sh. Kamal Khurana, Deepak Goel, Narendra Bansal, Shrichand Agrawal, Surendra Gupta, V.K. Sharma, Nichul Jain, Deepak Khattar and Mrs. Poonam Khurana . Pt. Suresh Shastri ji announced on all days from dias about stall of Samiti urging devotees to take pledge for body and organ donations. S/Sh.Shrichand Agrawal and Kamal Khurana addressed the participants on 5th and 6th November 2016 respectively detailing purpose and activities of the Samiti and thanked the organisers for providing this opportunity to us for spreading awareness about body / organ donation. Many persons made enquiries at our stall and collected forms. Two forms duly filled were received there itself. Others will be contacted for reminding filling of forms.
59th Annual Mahotsava - Arya Samaj, Sector 19, Faridabad
Arya Samaj, Sector 19, Faridabad held its 59th Annual Mahotsava in the premises of Arya Samaj on 10-13 November, 2016. Sh. Madan Lal Taneja, President and Sh, Ashok Garg, Secretary of Arya Samaj arranged for a stall of samiti during this event. Dr. Narendra Ahuja ‘Vivek’, Joint Commissioner, Haryana Government and several other seniors of Arya Samaj from NCR graced the event. The stall of Samiti was manned on all four days by S/Sh. Kamal Khurana, Narendra Bansal, Surendra Gupta, Rajiv Goel .Sh. Ashok Garg announced on all days from dais about stall of Samiti urging devotees to take pledge for body and organ donations. Sh. Rajiv Goel addressed the participants on 10th and 13th November 2016 from the dais detailing purpose and activities of the Samiti and thanked the organisers for providing this opportunity to us for spreading awareness about body / organ donation. Many persons made enquiries at our stall and collected forms. They will be reminded for filling forms.
हिन्दू आध्यात्मिक मेले में ‘दधीचि देह दान समिति’ का स्टाॅल
कवि नगर, गाज़ियाबाद के रामलीला मैदान में 17 नवम्बर, 2016 से चार दिवसीय ‘हिन्दू आध्यात्मिक एवं सेवा मेला’ आयोजित किया गया। इसमें पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश में हिन्दू समाज की सेवा में संलग्न विभिन्न संस्थाओं ने प्रदर्शनी लगाई। प्रदर्शनी में शामिल सभी 116 संस्थाओं ने अपने-अपने स्टाॅल के माध्यम से सेवा कार्यों की जानकारी दी। इस अवसर पर दधीचि देह दान समिति की गाज़ियाबाद शाखा ने क्षेत्र में किए जा रहे देह/अंग दान संबंधी कार्यों और भविष्य में किए जाने वाले कार्यों की जनमानस को जानकारी दी।
समिति की क्षेत्रीय शाखा ने इन चार दिवसों में लोगों को समिति के प्रणेता महर्षि दधीचि के अस्थि दान के बारे में बताया। साथ ही देहदानियों के चित्रों, राष्ट्रीय स्तर से लेकर गाज़ियाबाद क्षेत्र के संकल्पित दानियों के चित्रों और क्षेत्र में हुए विभिन्न उत्सवों की झलकियों को बैनरों के माध्यम से समिति के कार्यों को विस्तृत रूप से प्रस्तुत किया। यही नहीं कुछ विशिष्ट व्यक्तित्वों के साक्षात्कार भी पर्दे पर लोगों को दिखाए। अपने इन साक्षात्कारों में इन पथ-निर्देशक हस्तियों ने देह/अंग दान के महत्व का उल्लेख करते हुए इस राह की बड़ी बाधा अंधविश्वास को दूर करने काआह्वान किया।
समिति के स्टाॅल पर लगभग 1000 लोगों ने देह/अंग दान की जानकारी ली और लगभग 100 लोगों ने विशेष रुचि दिखाते हुए संकल्प पत्र भी लिए। दो लोगों ने तो मेले के अंतिम दिन यानि 20 नवम्बर, 2016 को संकल्प पत्र भर कर जमा भी कर दिए।

Arya Samaj, Sector 16,17,18 Faridabad held its Annual Mahotsava in the Balmiki Park, Sector 18 on 20 November, 2016. Sh. Megh Raj Arya, President and Sh. Bahan Amrita Acharya from Delhi recited excellent bhajans. The stall of Samiti was manned from 8-11AM and then from 2-7PM by S/Sh. V.K. Sharma, Surendra Gupta, Rajiv Goel. Sh. Ashok Shastriji announced from dias about stall of Samiti urging devotees to take pledge for body and organ donations. Sh.V.K. Sharma addressed the participants in the afternoon main program detailing purpose and activities of the Samiti and thanked the organisers for providing this opportunity to us for spreading awareness about body / organ donation. Many persons made enquiries at our stall and collected forms.

JeevKalyan Kendra, Sector 19, Faridabad held its 31 st Annual Rajai VitaranSamaroh in their premises on 27 November, 2016. Sh. Mahesh Chand Gupta,Treasurer arranged for a stall of Samiti during the event. Sh. Vipul Goyal, MLA,Sh. Dinesh Garg, President RWA, Sector 19 and Sh. Jagdish Prasad Gupta,Manager, AVN School with several others graced the event. The stall of Samitiwas manned by Sh. Narendra Bansal from 10am to 3:30pm. Many personsmade enquiries at our stall and collected forms. They will be contacted forreminding filling of forms. Sh. Narendra Bansal thanked the organisers forproviding us the opportunity to spread awareness about organ/body donation.
Organ India’s Collaborative Conclave on Organ Donation
ORGAN India organized a collaborative conclave on Organ Donation on 1st December, 2016 at India International Centre, New Delhi, along with NOTTO (National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organisation), with the support of Hero Corporate Services Ptv. Ltd. from 9AM to 5:30PM.
NGOs from all over India who participated in the conclave are: ORGAN India, Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti, MOHAN Foundation, Shatayu, A Million Pledges, Donate Life, Narmada Kidney Foundation, Apex Kidney Foundation, Zublee Foundation, NDTN, Ganadarpan, Shine India Foundation, Rotary South West Delhi, MOTHER, Love Care Foundation, Karunya Trust. All the NGOs made presentations about their activities for about 10 minutes each. Dr. Vishal Chadha, Vice President made the presentation on Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti.
The participants then participated in the 5 different groups to discuss and propose way forward on different topics related to organ donation promotion in the country. The suggestions made by the groups were discussed and the list of action points were decided.
दक्षिण दिल्लीवासियों ने अंग दान का संकल्प लिया 4 दिसम्बर, 2016
दक्षिण दिल्ली क्षेत्र में देह/अंग दान के प्रति जागरूकता के लिए दधीचि देह दान समिति ने 4 दिसम्बर, 2016 को एक विशाल आयोजन किया। स्थान था सेन्ट्रल पार्क, लाजपत नगर-4 । कार्यक्रम में समिति के अध्यक्ष आलोक कुमार भी शामिल थे। अध्यक्षता की दक्षिण दिल्ली में समिति के संयोजक श्री कमल खुराना ने और मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में भाजपा की सांसद श्रीमती मीनाक्षी लेखी ने अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई। कार्यक्रम में विशेष तौर पर वरिष्ठ नागरिकों सहित बड़ी संख्या में लोग शामिल हुए। कार्यक्रम का आरंभ इस्काॅन भक्तों के हरे कृष्ण भजन से हुआ। दयानंद स्कूल, अमर कालोनी और डीएवी स्कूल, यूसुफ सराय की छात्राओं ने मनोहारी गायन और नृत्य प्रस्तुत किए।
मुख्य अतिथि श्रीमती लेखी ने देह/अंग दान पर किए जा रहे समिति के कार्यों की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा अगर लोग स्वेच्छा से मरणोपरांत नेत्र दान करें तो भारत में अंधता को काफी हद तक मिटाया जा सकता है। उन्होंने हृदय, यकृत, गुर्दे, अग्न्याशय जैसे महत्वपूर्ण अंगों के दान को महत्पपूर्ण बताते हुए महिलाओं पर हो रहे एसिड हमलों की भी चर्चा की। इन हमलों को गंभीरता से लेते हुए स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय स्किन बैंक बनाने की दिशा में सक्रिय है। उन्होंने बताया कि चिकित्सा विज्ञान मस्तिष्क में प्रत्यारोपण करने पर भी अनुसंधान कर रहा है जिससे भविष्य में ब्रेन ट्यूमर जैसी जानलेवा बीमारी का इलाज संभव हो सके।
समिति के अध्यक्ष श्री आलोक कुमार ने देह/अंग दान पर विस्तृत चर्चा की। उन्होंने इसके वैज्ञानिक, चिकित्सीय, आध्यात्मिक, सामाजिक तथा आर्थिक पक्षों को बताया। उन्होंने समिति के इस दिशा में पिछले दो दशक से किए जा रहे प्रयासों की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा देह दान सर्वोच्च आध्यात्मिक साधना का मार्ग है। यही वजह है कि दीदी मां साध्वी ऋतंभरा, श्री श्री रवि शंकर, मुरारी बापू, लोकेश मुनि, आचार्य रूपचंद ने भी देह/अंग दान को महादान बताया है। इन सभी विभूतियों के वीडियो साक्षात्कार यू-ट्यूब पर उपलब्ध हैं। श्री आलोक ने विभिन्न देह/अंग दानियों के उत्साह और मर्मस्पर्शी प्रसंगों का, उपस्थित जनसमूह के साथ, सांझा किया। उन्होंने आशा व्यक्त की कि हर व्यक्ति रूढ़ियों और भ्रांतियों को तोड़ कर मरणोपरांत देह/अंग दान करके मानव, समाज और देश को स्वस्थ्य-सबल बनाने में अपनी भागीदारी निभाएगा। अंत में समिति की उपलब्धियों की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि, ‘समिति अब तक 153 देह दान, 483 नेत्र दान, 4 लोगों के अंग दान और एक व्यक्ति की अस्थियों का दान करा चुकी है।’
श्री सुदेश गुप्ता को, अपने भाई तथा एक अन्य देह दानी श्री राज ऋषि चड्ढा के पुत्र श्री प्रेम चड्ढा के नेत्र दान कराने के लिए, सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में दीनदयाल शोध संस्थान के महामंत्री श्री अतुल जैन, दक्षिण दिल्ली वेद प्रचार मंडल के महामंत्री श्री छतर सिंह, पूर्व विधायक श्री सुशील चैधरी, पार्षद एवं पूर्व मेयर श्रीमती सविता गुप्ता, आर्यसमाजी श्री डावर, श्री मंडल, श्री आशीष चैधरी तथा स्थानीय विभिन्न आरडब्ल्यूए एवं वरिष्ठ नागरिक मंचों के प्रधान भी अपने-अपने पदाधिकारियों के साथ उपस्थित थे।
देह/अंग दान पर दिल्ली मेडिकल एसोसिएशन का सेमिनार – 4 दिसम्बर, 2016 
दिल्ली मेडिकल एसोसिएशन (डीएमए) ने 4 दिसम्बर, 2016 को एक सेमिनार का आयोजन किया। स्थान था तालकटोरा स्टेडियम और विषय था देह/अंग दान को बढ़ावा देना। सेमिनार में यह विचार किया कि दिल्ली मेडिकल एसोसिएशन देह/अंग दान में कैसे अपनी भूमिका निभा सकती है। सेमिनार के मुख्य अतिथि थे डीएमए के अध्यक्ष डाॅ. राकेश के. गुप्ता०।, नोटो के अध्यक्ष डाॅ. भंडारी, अध्यात्मिक गुरु श्री अनुभूतानन्द, दधीचि देह दान समिति के महामंत्री श्री हर्ष मल्होत्रा। सेमिनार में लगभग 300 डाॅक्टर्स शामिल हुए। श्री हर्ष मल्होत्रा ने समिति के कार्यों की जानकारी दी और बताया कि देह/अंग दान के लिए डाॅक्टर्स समाज में कैसे बदलाव ला सकते हैं। कार्यक्रम में समिति केदक्षिण दिल्ली क्षेत्र के संयोजक श्री कमल खुराना, सह-संयोजक श्री दीपक गोयल, सह-संयोजक श्री अनिल वर्मा, श्री राकेश सागर, श्री योगेन्द्र अग्रवाल भी उपस्थित थे। इस मौके पर समिति ने अपना स्टाॅल भी लगाया।
Cygnus MLS Hospital – Gosthi on BODY/ORGAN DONATION - 20 December 2016
Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti participated in a ‘Gosthi’ organized in the confrence hall of Cygnus MLS Hospital on 20 December 2016. The Gosthi was jointly organized by Cygnus MLS Hospital & Deep Sewa Sansthan an NGO. Cygnus MLS Hospital is a 100 bedded super speciality hospital situated in Rama Vihar, Delhi.
The Gosthi was organized with the purpose to create awareness for Body/ Organ donation among the masses in the local area. The representatives of Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti (doing commendable work in the field of organ and body donation) were invited to deliver a talk on the subject. Mr. Vinod Aggarwal delivered an enlightening talk on need & importance of body/organ donation. He discussed the details of methodology adopted by the samiti to create awareness among the masses and co-ordination between the hospital/ medical colleges and the families in the event of death resulting eye/organ/ body donation. Mr. Agarwal highlighted about the trauma of the patients and their families needing the organs for their treatment and survival by citing many examples and various measures taken by the government to enhance the transplantation of organs. He also requested the audience to pledge their body /organ for this noble cause. Dr M P Gupta, who donated both the kidneys, the eyes and Liver of his wife to also shared his experiences with the audience.
Various queries were made by the audience, which was answered by Mr Vinod and Dr Krisna Kant Agarwal. The function was presided by well known social & political leader Sh. Shambhu Sharma who also stressed the need for organ/body donation.
Dr. Ramesh Aggarwal , Medical Director of Cygnus MLS Hospital welcomed the guests & thanked the speakers & distinguish audience for participating in the Gosthi. More than 100 persons including senior staff members of the hospital attended function.
Organ Donation Awareness Programe - Modern School, Vasant Vihar – 2nd October 2016
Organ donation awareness programe organised by Modern School, Vasant Vihar on 23.12.2016 in the school auditorium. Kamal Khurana gave a talk on need of organ donation and explained all technical aspects of organ donation. Staff members along with senior students were present and took keen interest .This was one of the few events which the Samiti intends to undertake to sensitise the youth on organ donation
