A delegation of Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti met Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister in his office on Saturday, 21.03.2015.

The Samiti offered the Government its support to the Stem-Cell Donation movement. If the Government consents, the Samiti shall organize 100 seminars in one hundred educational institutions affiliated with the Delhi University in Delhi in a period of two years. All seminars shall be accompanied by Blood-Donation Camps and registration for Stem-Cell Donations. It is expected that in this campaign 10,000 units of Blood may be collected and stem-cell donations registered. It is proposed to be conducted in cooperation with Delhi University, DUSU, NSS and the respective college student unions. We shall also request the DUTA to join in.

The Samiti also offered its support in enhancing the Cadaver Donations and the Organs Donations in Delhi.

Shri Nadda welcomed the offer and promised all Governmental action for ‘Niramaya Bharat’. Shri Nadda also kindly consented to be the Chief Guest of the 24th ‘Dehdaniyon ka Utsav’ on 10th May 2015.

The delegation included the President of the Samiti Shri Alok Kumar, Advocate, General Secretary, Shri Harsh Malhotra, Vice Presidents Shri Mahesh Pant and Dr. Vishal Chadha and Office Secretary Shri Amit Kr. Singh, Advocate.
