Executive committee meeting

17.01.2015 at Sanskrit Bharti, 25 Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg, New Delhi

The meeting was attended by 44 members.  Shri Alok Kumar, President of the Samiti presided over the meeting. The proceedings were conducted by Shri Harsh Malhotra, General Secretary of the Samiti.

Shri Harsh Malhotra welcomed the members and invited members incharge of projects  to give their report .

Dr. Kirti Vardhan Sahni  presented a report on the first Dadhichi Darshan Yatra :  Dr. Sahni gave a detailed report of yatra in which  36 Tirth Yatris went to Naimisharanya and Mishrikh. Yatris had privilege to spend 1 hour at Dadhichi ashram . It gave sufficient time to meditate and soak the vibrations enmating from the sacred place and made everybody more committed to the noble cause of samiti.

Shri Ram Naik, Hon’ble Governor of UP arrived at the appointed time. He offered  Puja at the Temple of Mahrishi Dadhichi and  Kund.

A  ‘Swastha Sabal Bharat Gosthi’ was organized which turned into a huge public meeting. The gathering was addressed by Shri Ram Naik, Hon’ble Governor, Shri Alok Kumar, President of the Samiti, Ms. Anju Bala, MP Mishrikh, Shri Rajesh Verma, MP Sitapur, Dr. Ram Autar Sharma of Shri Ram Sanskritik Shodh Sansthan, Shri Tushar Sahni, Shri Ajay Gupta, Shri Jaikar Nath Kapoor and others.

A press conference for Yatra was addressed by Shri Harsh Malhotra and Dr. Kirti Vardhan Sahni on Saturday, 08.11.2014.

Dr. Sahni expressed his happiness and satisfaction on the successful completion of Yatra .

Dr. Vishal Chadha presented a report on Samiti’s E-Journal. Dr. Chadha informed that Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister had launched Samiti’s inaugural E-Journal on 01.09.2014. The first two issues of E-Journal were released in time and the third issue for January-February 2015 is being released in this meeting  by Revered Swami Shri Anubhutanand Ji.

This E-Journal is going to more than 1000 persons by email. It is sent to all the registered donors whose email Ids are available  and to all medical colleges, Health Ministers and Health Secretaries of the states and Union Territories in India. It can be subscribed from our website also. Dr. Chadha said that our target is 5000 subscribers  by the end of this year. He informed that the Journal contains messages from eminent persons including the video recordings of Shri Shri Ravishankar Ji, Pujya Shri Morari Bapu Ji, Dr. S.S. Agarwal, National President, IMA, Dr. Vinay Aggarwal, National Past President IMA and such others. The Journal contains reports on important news, advances and events. It also contains useful articles pertaining to the theme of the Journal.

Ms. Divya Arya presented a report on the public initiative on Stem Cells Donations. Ms. Divya Arya said that the Samiti launched a public initiative on Stem Cell Donation with AIIMS. Dr. Harsh Vardhan, the then Union Health Minister of India was the Chief Guest of this Program who along withProf. M. C. Mishra Director of AIIMS , Prof. Narinder Mehra, President, AIDMR and Shri Alok Kumar, President of the Samiti gave their blood samples for Stem Cells donations. She said that total 94 persons gave their samples on this occasion.

Ms. Divya Arya informed that the Samiti has given a proposal to the Govt. of India to continue the massive drive with the help of Delhi University, National Service Scheme, Delhi University Student Union and the students unions of various colleges to hold seminars on the subject in some 100 colleges followed by blood donation and registrations for stem cells donations. The scheme when approved by the Govt. shall be able to enrol more than 10,000 persons for stem-cells donations in one academic year. 

Shri Vinod Aggarwal presented a report of Dehdaniyon ka Utsav held by North Delhi Unit on 09.03.2014 at Maharaja Agrasen Bhawan, Pitampura, Delhi. Dr. SCL Gupta, Dr. Vijay Gupta, Shri Ram Kailash Gupta, and Shri Alok Kumar addressed the gathering. 35 persons registered for Body-Organs donations in the Cause of Humanity in the Utsav.

Shri Ram Dhan presented a report of Dehdaniyon ka Utsav held by West Delhi Unit on 02.11.2014 at Sanatan Dharm Mandir East Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi. Revered Sadhvi Shiromani Didi, Shri Alok Kumar, President, DDDS, Dr. Raj Kumar Manchanda, Director General, Central Council of Research in Homeopathy, Govt. of India and Dr. S. C. Sharma of Ganga Ram Hospital addressed the gathering. 46 persons registered for Body-Organs donation for Humanity in the Utsav.

Dr. Vishal Chadha presented a report of Dehdaniyon ka Utsav held by Ghaziabad Unit on 30.11.2014 at Mewar Institute, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad.Revered Sadhvi Samta Shri, Prof, Narinder Mehra, President AIDMR, Shri Alok Kumar, President, DDDS  addressed the gathering. 322 persons registered for Body-Organs donation for Humanity in the Utsav. 203 persons registered for stem-cells donations. This was, by far, the biggest Utsav of the Samiti. He also gave a power-point-presentation of a continuous campaign for two months wherein various meetings were held in different parts of Ghaziabad with the association of RSS, Vaishali Mahanagar, Arya Upratinidhi Sabha, Ghaziabad, Bharat Vikas Parishad (Vasundhara, Indirapuram and Ghaziabad), Sanatan Dharm Sabha, Ghaziabad, Gaunvardhan Samiti, Ghaziabad, Gurudwara Shri Gurusingh Sabha, Suryanagar, Ramprastha, Varishth Nagrik Kalyan Manch, Jain Samaj, Art of LIving, Sewa Bharti, Manav Kalyan Sewa Samiti, Gayatri Pariwar, Loins Club etc.

Shri Kamal Khurana presented a report of Dehdaniyon ka Utsav held by South Delhi Unit on 14.12.2014 at Manav Mandir Gurukul, Sarai Kale Khan, Delhi. Pujya Acharya Roop Chandra Ji, Shri Aziz Qureshi, Hon’ble Governor Uttrakhand,, Sadhvi Samta Shri, Shri Harsh Malhotra, General Secretary, DDDS addressed the gathering. 84 persons registered for Body-Organs donation for Humanity in the Utsav.

The Utsav was organised with Manav Mandir Gurukul, at Sarai Kale Khan Delhi on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Pujya Acharya Roop Chandra Ji.

Shri Amit Singh, Office Secretary of the Samiti gave a report of the working and facilities available at the office of the Samiti. The office is striving to attain perfection and transparency in the matter of finances and records. He also stated that the Samiti has received 652 forms after the February 2014 Utsav.

Shri Sudhir Gupta, gave detailed account of the Body and eye donations executed during last year.

Shri Alok Kumar, President of the Samiti said that in the last Executive Meeting held on 15.06.2014 followingthree new initiatives were resolved

(a)       Starting an yearly Dadhichi Darshan Yatra;

(b)       Starting an E-journal to be published every two months; and

(c)        Launching a public initiative for Stem-Cells Donations.

He expressed satisfaction that the Samiti has successfully started all the three above initiatives with huge success.

Shri Alok Kumar said that Param Snehi Bhai Ajay Ji of Triveni Sewa Mission has suggested that Samiti holds a Katha on Mahrishi Dadhichi every year on the Mahrishi’s Jayanti i.e. his birthday. Revered Ajay Bhai has kindly agreed to deliver this Katha. It was Resolvedthat the Samiti shall hold a Dadhichi Katha on the Dadhichi Jayanti every year starting from 2015.

Shri Alok Kumar expressed satisfaction that the Samiti’s branches at North Delhi, South Delhi, West Delhi and Ghaziabad have held wonderful Utsavs in their regions with substantial registrations and in the presence of very eminent persons.

Shri Alok Kumar announced that Shri Rajiv Goel who has retired as Dy. Director General, Ministry of Communication and IT has volunteered to take on the responsibilities for Faridabad Unit. He has been appointed as the Convener of the Faridabad Unit.

This was followed by an interaction and suggestions section.

Pujya Swami Anubhutanand Ji blessed the Mission of Niramaya Bharat. He authoritatively negated the superstitions that if a body is not burnt on the funeral pyre, the deceased shall not get salvation. He exhorted the Executive Members to take this mission to all parts of Delhi with a renewed vigour. He said that he shall place all facilities at his Ashram for the Cause of the Samiti and also announced a donation of Rs. 51,000.00 for the E-Journal.

Shri Harsh Malhotra, General Secretary of the Samiti thanked the members for participating in the meeting. He also thanked the Samskrita Bharti for providing their hall and infrastructure for the meeting.
